Stevie Bate

Stevie has worked in criminal defence since 2015 and joined Jacobs Solicitors in June 2023.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Stevie worked as a paralegal in criminal defence whilst studying at Manchester Law School, where she graduated with honours in 2017. 

Stevie qualified as a solicitor in 2019 having completed her training contract with a law firm in West Yorkshire. She then went to work at a Cheshire law firm after qualifying and gained her duty solicitor qualification (Criminal Litigation Accreditation).

Stevie is also a police station representative and has experience dealing with a wide range of offences from minor thefts to murder.

Stevie prides herself on providing straightforward and honest advice to clients, achieving the best results for them and their individual circumstances.

Away from work, Stevie enjoys pilates, snowboarding, long walks and going to Old Trafford to watch Manchester United.
